Colombian Pride



This is Colombia's national soccer team. Most of Colombians people are proud of them. They are our best soccer team in last twenty years. We are nearby to qualifier to next world cup soccer in Brazil 2014.

At this moment the most famous Colombian player is Falcao Garcia (fourth above left to right). He earns more money than all others Colombian players.

James Rodriguez and Juan Cuadrado are the youngest players of the team (first and second below left to right), although james is younger than Juan.

Mario Yepes (first above left) is the tallest and oldest player. He is the most experimented player of our selection and for this reason is the captain.

The picture was taken in Metropolitan Stadium in Barranquilla in a sunny day. This is the bigger stadium in Colombia but it is not the most beautiful. The most beautiful stadiums in Colombia are El Campin in Bogota and Atanasio Girardot in Medellin. Atanasio Girardot is more beautiful than el Campin and this is bigger than Atanasio Girardot.

Bogota is cooler than Medellín and Baranquilla and this one is hotter than Medellin and Bogota. Honda is the hotest city  and Tunja is the coolest city in Colombia.

The stadium was full although the tickets were expensive. The cheapest ticket costs about fourty dollars and the most expensive ticket costs around three hundred dollars.

The landscape is colorful and refreshing.
The sun was radiant, bright and invite to enjoy the nature.
The green of the mountains produces a feeling of freshness unmatched.
The sea was calm and timidly approached the beaches.
The lonely road bordering the sea.
Tourists enjoying a wonderful sunny day.

Bob's Bad Day

One day, Bob was working and listening to music in his office. Suddenly, he got a phone call from his friend, Sally, and she invited him to her birthday party on April 13th. That day, he bought some flowers for her and took a taxi. A few minutes later, however, he realized he had no money. The taxi driver noticed the fact and shouted to him, "Get out! You don't have money!". But it was raining heavily and he didn't have an umbrella. Fortunately he met his friend, Patrick, who has a car so he asked Patrick to bring him to Sally's house. But ten minutes later, Patrick's car was broken and they tried to fix his car. While they fixing the car, the flowers were getting to die. After they fixed the car they arrived at Sally's house while she was watching TV and eating pizza. When the door bell rang, she opened the door and said "Why are you here? Today is not my birthday. My birthday is not 13th but 30th!!!"
Bob misunderstood Sally's birthday!!!
